The product that bruised my face.... say what??

I never in my wildest dreams thought I would be writing a review where I had nothing good to say about the product. Now here I am, sharing my disappointment and anger about something that BRUISED MY FACE. WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL? Okay Brianna, compose yourself. I still cannot fathom such a concept. So here's my delightfully pleasant review(total sarcasm intended)...

I heard good reviews about ModelsPrefer 'Clear out! Skin clearing solution, all saying that they loved the product and that it 'saved their skin' . When I saw it on sale at my local Priceline, I was thrilled and brought it... Worst beauty decision of my life. There are so many reasons why I hate this, but I don't think you would want to read a ten paged ramble of my negativity(I would be too lazy to do so anyway). Therefore, I'll just skim over the minor issues and the one major problem...

So here's a lowdown on the individual attachments and functions:

Mist function for hydration: Spray of water when you press a button. Are you trying to leave my face wet for a purpose? Is this meant to do something?
Brush/ exfoliator: Feels like a feather, being too gentle for me. I have sensitive skin so I like gentle products, but even then I can say this needs to be a little firmer to feel like it is doing something.
Face massager: Three little revolving balls that squeak annoyingly and just feel plain weird.
Polishing attachment: A sponge with no effect. What is the actual point? Is there one or just to fill the box? It did absolutely nothing.
Suction pore cleanser: the devil...
There were no instructions on how to use any of the attachments(which was mildly frustrating), so I used it for 20 seconds(if that). The best way I can describe the result is the Kylie Jenner lip challenge. As I'm sure everyone would be, I was appalled. And I tell you what, covering it with makeup for the next week became a nuisance of a mission.

So in my opinion(which you don't have to listen to and can go buy this product if you please) this is the worst skincare item I have tried yet. Nothing that claims to be a 'skin clearing solution' should ever leave this kind of outcome. Clear skin? Yeah right. Bruises? Guaranteed.

Pros:
The packaging is pretty(not that it actually matters)

Cons:
EVERYTHING

Rating:
0.1 out of 5- only because I feel mean giving it a complete 0

Have you had any bad skincare experiences? Tell me in the comments :)

∆ Stay beautiful, Bri xx

  1. Wow that's awful! It seems silly that they wouldn't include instructions and for something like that to happen after 20 seconds is ridic!!
